We received a frantic phone call on a Sunday morning from patient Heath Wintz, who was on vacation with his family in the Keys. The night before, Heath was night-kayaking in the ocean and capsized. As he tried to pull himself back into the kayak, he hit his mouth on the vessel, chipping his front teeth. He sent us this photo, via his cell phone.
We made an appointment for Heath to come in on Monday morning. Dr. Perella was able to create a custom mix of 3 tooth shades to fill the teeth and match the existing enamel.
Heath was very thankful to have his smile back and promised us to kayak only during the day from now on!
